So no production of the part, calibration for part. I purchased a nos with miles and Harley Davidson could not have it calibrated. So whoever buys the speedo will get first dibs on chrome mount if interested.

I was told, because its a discontinued item, the dealers can't or won calibrate them anymore they send off to actual manufacturer that produced for HD calibration. They just didn make as many. And when they post, re usually are top dollar if in fair shape last a day or so before sell.

9 kilometers which equates to this speedometer is as nice the day it was new. You can't buy these anymore from a HD dealer, or even have one re calibrated at your local Harley dealer as I learned the hard way.

It took me about 6 months to finally find a match on miles. This off my personal 97 Sportster. Cause you won't be able. There are no signs of wear as this bike has always been garaged and never wrecked.

Therefore don't do what I did and buy one with zero miles or kilometers any amount of assuming you'll have it re calibrated to your bikes mileage. Plus its low miles 10,957. And yes it works flawlessly. So, I finally found another one very close to my miles and will install it after take this km off bike.

It will also have all of the harness connections, no cut off wires. And the lower mileage your bike has, harder to find. Now they wont calibrate them at all. The speedometer side of this gauge obviously reads kilometers as well.

I had no luck at all. These are getting very rare especially the older km versions. So if you want to convert your mph speedometer a km version and mileage is close mine, 6800 or miles heres match.

To install, I m told its a pretty easy switch out.
